Our first outing is tomorrow! The sun is out up here and the weather will be mid-60’s for the rest of the weekend.
Here are directions from Coulterville (about an hour east of Modesto) to the claim and we will have brightly colored signs with arrows at each intersection with AMRA on them pointing the way as well:
From Coulterville turn onto J132 towards Yosemite and drive up the mountain for about 10 miles through Greeley Hill.
Turn right onto Old Yosemite Road and follow for approximately 5 miles. You’ll cross over the North Fork Merced at Bower Cave and immediately stay to the right on Bull Creek Road.
Follow Bull Creek Road for about 5 miles to a giant meadow on your right with a small section of pavement. Turn LEFT right before the bridge.
Follow this road for about a mile and a half to the claim/campground on the right.
Lots of camping, lots of prizes, lots of water in the creek and we will also have professional miners on site to answer/teach anyone who comes on any aspect of mining.
