Memorial Day

This weekend we honor our fallen heroes. We at AMRA hold this holiday in special regard as many of us have lost family members who fought for our freedoms. Many of our AMRA staff and AMRA members are veterans.
Soldiers from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), assist in a somber transfer of Sgt. James L. Skalberg Jr., 25, of Cullman, Ala., assigned to 4th Battalion, 1st Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas, and another Soldier, June 30, at Dover Air Force Base, Del.

Do you enjoy your right to carry arms? Thank a Veteran and thank the fallen.

Do you enjoy being able to say what you want, even if others disagree with you? Thank a Veteran and thank the fallen.

America has been under assault since the founding of this, the greatest nation on planet earth. These men and women have died defending our freedoms. That is the ultimate sacrifice and it is a sacrifice the families of the fallen struggle with each and every day.

It is not enough to just fly the American flag, please thank the families of the fallen, thank the Veteran you see and thank the men and women who currently serve.

These brave men and women are the sole reason for America’s success and our single most cherished event AMRA holds each year is our Veterans outing to thank these brave heroes.

This weekend, we all remember the fallen, with love and honor.
