Their dependence on the government is absurd. They will not be producing a tangible benefit for the environment with this project because they will not be attacking the problem in the same way that a gold dredger would. How much legacy mercury would be LEFT in the river after they go through there, 98%? We all know that our equipment can RECOVER more than 98% of the liquid elemental mercury that we dig up. These groups do not care about the environment. The only thing the radical environmental groups seem to care about is getting their next government handout.
